Wed In Blackstock United Will Reside In Cooksville Blackstock United: Chureh # prettily decorated with bron- ze and yellow mums was the setting on October 7th, 1967 for the marriage of Miss Joan Marie Bradburn and Mr. Leo- nard Albert Chamberlain. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph W. Bradburn and the groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George I.. Chamberlain. Rev. P. Romeril was the officiating clergyman. The wedding jusic was played by Mrs. Gordon Strong and | the soloist was Mrs. Harold McLaughlin. Given in marriage by her father the bride wore a floor length gown of silk organza with A line skirt and styled with an attached bolaro of point de sprit, lavishly trim- med with re - embroidered Alencon lace. The back of the gown was highlighted by a detachable double train with organza beneath, with similar point de sprit on top panel, edeed with scalloped lace. Her headdress was a three tier shoulder length veil with a tiera of seceded pearls and rose in centre front. She carried a boquet of amber roses and stephan otis. Miss Marion Bradburn was maid of honour and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Roger Bergmann and Mrs. George Chamberlain. Their head-pieces were matching lagoda silk wedding ring bands in Hunt- e'rs green and their boquets were yellow mums. Mr. Robert Chamberlain was best man and the ushers were Mr. George Chamber- lain and Mr. Roy Bradburn. The reception was held in Blackstock Christian Educa- .| tion Centre where the bride's mother received in a two piece teal blue dress, with Swiss lace bodice, matching teal blue feather hat, black acecssories and a corsage of dark pink roses. She was assisted hy the groom's mo- ther, who chose a cranberry double knit three piece suit, with black accessories and corsage of pink roses. Before leaving for their trip to Montreal, Quebec City & Eastern Ontario, the bride donned a three piece brown and beige suit, moss green hat, beige accessories and Orchid corsage. Mr. and Mrs. Chamberlain are residing in Cooksville. The bride attended Cart- wright Public & High School and received her R.N. at Oshawa Hospital and is now nursing in Cooksville Hospi- tal. The groom received his education at Admaston Pub- lic School and Renfrew High School and is an office work- er at Douglas Aircraft, Malt- on.
