The Port Perry team were out played in this.game but were pos- sibly tired from plaving the night before in Sunderland. __ The game of the week was the Beare Bantams game against Brooklin. This was a fast rough and exciting game, many penalties, a couple of near fights and lots of body checking, but the Port team was equal in every department and better in the starting the third period but Brooklin got 3 quick goals & it looked like curtains for our boys. But the team roared back and outscored Brooklin in the last half of the final period. Scoring for Port Perry: Danny McCartney 2 goals; Tennyson, Evans, Mc- scoring. Port Perry led 5-1; Kane. and Bronson, 1 goal each. The last Goal was a break away from centre ice and Bronson went in all alone to beat thé Brooklin goalie beautifully. The Keswick team were in last place, one.point behind the Flamingos going into Tuesdays game, and were really up for this one. This encounter was almost a must for the Flamingos in their bid for the last play-off spot. A win Tuesday night would Uxbridge Down Mustangs 3to1 game of a best of three series to Uxbridge 3-1. Mustangs controlled the play for two periods but only managed one goal by Ron Jeffery assisted by Roger Moase. Uxbridge scored 1 goal in the first period and 2 in the second.
