Last Two Games But Lose Series To Bolton although they tied the Bolton Midgets 3-3, they dropped the series 4 points to 2. The first game proved to be the down- fall of the Mustangs when they dropped it. to Bolton in Port Perry. It, as all the Mustangs games have been, was an ex- citing. contest with Bolion taking a onc goal lead in the first period and adding an- other goal in the second. Both periode featured hard hitting, fast skating hockey with out- standing goal tending on the part of both teams. Mustangs scored shortly before the end, of the second to narrow the margin to 2-1 on a goal neither team was able to score the winner and for the second game in a row the teams went into overtime, Once again it was a stand- off due to the superb goal tending - -on--both--teams:--Pors-- - had the play in tha early part of the overtime period when Bolton picked up some penalties and towards <'he end of the game it was Bol- ton's turn when Mustangs ran into penalties. Although they dropped the series on point basis Mus- tangs proved once again they are a team that will not quit - and. any boy who was assoc- iated with the team this year can be prouud to be able zo say I played with the Mus- tangs.
