Blood is urgently needed, and when the Canadian Red Cross hold their Fall blood donor clinic on Wednesday, October 16 a record turnout is hoped for. Statistics show that the October clinic always falls short of the Spring clinic held usually in May. At the Clinic held May 3rd of this year 167 donors gave blood, but at the Fall clinic in October, 1967 only 88 per- sons gave blood. It is im- portant that not only last fall's figure of 88 will be exceeded, but that more don- ors give blood than ever be- fore. There is no risk in giving blood. It is a very simple process with no discomfort of the programme is under professional supervision. Spe- cially trained nurses will take blood donations.
