Her Lesson Thoughts were relative to this hymn. Mrs. Lloyd Smith's reading was a Lenten Prayer, followed by the Lord's Prayer in unison. Mrs. Ted Legge favored with a fine solo "The Hope of the World is in Jesus" with piano accompaniment by Willa Holtby. The hymn "There is a green hill far away "con cluded this period. The president, Georganne Legge, introduced the busi- ness session with a reading. After the regular reports, an interesting letter from Mr. and Mrs. Mitton Arnold, our missionary friends (she is a Thursday, | March 27, 1969 niece of Mr. Dearborn), in Zambia, Africa, was read. A parcel is going forward to their mission in the near fu- ture. A committee was appoint- ed to arrange for the Spring Tea on Wed. P.M., May 7th. Mrs. Leslie Smith offered her home for the next meet. ing on April 3rd. Following the Theme Prayer, the meet- ing adjourned. The group in charge served a refreshing, lunch, during a friendly social hour. The five units introduced their pro- jects for the year. Mr. and Mrs. Burnsell Webster and Nancy spent a few days in Ottawa last week. Mrs. Tom O'Connell return. ed with them to visit her mother, Mrs. Ed. Conlin.
