Mr. Brooks had been in ill health for the [past year and a half. He was born on November 14, 1898 at the family homestead on the 4th concession of Reach township. The eldest son of the late William Brooks arid Minnie Dennison. He. was educated at Man- chester Public School and Port Perry High School, and attend- ed Manchester United Church Mr. Brooks began work- ing for the A.E. Jupp Const- ruction in 1927, which later became the Miller Paving Co. Ltd., and was a loyal and faithful employee for this Company for 42 years. Mr. Brooks is survived by his wife, the former Gertrude Fraser, whom he married on December 17th, 1930, two sons, Ross of Whitby, Donald of Sunderland and two daugh- ters, Evelyn ( Mrs. R. specifications.
