I think it is an excellent piece of writing for a grade IV pupil. 'On our bus trip we went "to four places. The first was Flamingo Pastries; In the factory was a raisin machine and.an oven. and a machine that put the butter in the . tarts. It took nineteen min utes for the tarts to bake in the oven. It took forty-.even minutes for the tarts to make it all the way round the fac- tory. . The next place was the Oshawa Fire Hall. We saw the hook and: ladder * truck with the ladder going up in the air. 'When we went to the. hose truck Gordon let off the siren. We also saw a truck being repaired. The third place was Bow- manville Zoo, except it was raining so we went to the Civic Auditorium. There we |' +rsaw four people swimming in the pool. 'Then we went to 'the lunch room to have our "lunch. Then we saw a rink where 'they play Lacrosse. Then it was dry and sunny so we went to Bowmanville Zoo. There we saw llamas, peacocks, racoons, .a fox, a sacel, donkeys,' deer, porcu- pine, buffalo, -a- skunk, par- rot and a crow, Marco Polo sheep and other animals, We | fed the animals corn and Hi Kids!
