She noted many differences in colouring and texture from those done here. Of special interest was an adjustable hooking stand which made the work much ~ easier. The Gift Shop in Mrs. Sker- ratt's home has been open since May and a variety of beautiful articles are for sale from 9 until 7 Fridays and Saturdays and other days by appointment. Some very attractive articles were produced. Before leaving we made a tour through the house which .is really a miniature museum with rare and beaut- "iful articles collected or made over the years. A handmade churn, over one hundred years old and other articles for butter making, pictures made from buttonsand hooked rugs to mention only a few of the treasurers. All went home with the satisfaction of having. spent an enjoyable 'and profitable afternoon.
