We shall surely miss Mrs, Marjorie Huntley who has sold her comparatively new home and has moved to an Oshawa apartment where we - all wish her happy living. The same- wishes are ex: tended to Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Merchant and family (who have vacated Mr. B. Weed- en's house) and moved into a.new house in Port Perry where we wish them well too. Mr. and Mrs. Erie Lane and baby and her mothcr Mrs. F. Sandison have moved into one of Mr. Weeden's homes just north of where Mr. and Mrs. Weeden themselves re- side. ; In fact it is fantastic the fabulous new homes that are being erected here and there. Other folk are re-decorating their places of ahode which all beautifies the general ap- pearance of our attractive village. Several. from our district were in Bowmanville over the passing of Mr, Creighton P. Devitt, who had been hos- pitalized 'several weeks.
