They went as far as PEI and returned by wav of U.S. Monday was the day the Nicholls family broke up camp and came home. Marriage didn't bring Ron Abraham -afiy juck. He was involved in an accident early last week in which a boy was fatally injured. The newly- weds are now on their honey- moon. The S.S. picnic at Well- spring Park was fairly well attended. The weather, sports, prizes and eats were all good. To Bill Barr is reallv in love with Japan. He is off on a trip "there 'which will take the whole month of August. There should be no snow for Shirley to shovel this time. On Sat. Mrs. Garv Twiner was hostess in the Cliff Short home, at a bridal shower for]. her friend Miss Donna Gil- ron. Guests were neighbour ladies and girl friends. Misses Donna Bruce and Marilyn McMillan were on a 4-H club trip to the, Thous- and Islands during the week- end. Next week Donna goes to Quim-o-lac church camp as counsellor. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Fish- ley and June of Brooklin spent Sunday visiting his mother Mrs. B. Fishley. Mr. and Mrs. Belair paid a vicit to Mr "and Mrs. Ross Real of Greenbank on Sun- dav evening.
