Mrs. Anne Stone and fam-|- ily of Oshawa were guests of the Grant Franklins last week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Duff, Port Perry, and Mr. and Mrs. B. Hitchins and Miss Wendy, Oshawa were visitors with Mr. and Mrs, W. J. Mitchell on Sunday. Utica News Continued last weekend with Mrs, Sker- ratt while Mr. and Mrs. Don MacNeill were conducting a conference in Ottawa. Among the boys who form- ed the loyal nucleus of the team were: Ricky Geer, Larry Midgely, John Zoet, Scott Wilbur, Danny Cosburn, The Utica - Epsom Squirts were runners-up in the Port Perry House League in soft- ball. - Over the lengthy three- month regular season, the team lost only two games. In the play-offs, after defeating the Orange Lodge, they lost to Cartwright"s Malmont Farms for the championship. Tim Mitchell, Keith Mac- Neill, John Trick, Rob Crox- all, Len McEnaney. John Ca- shin and Brian Biglestone The boys were coached by Mr. McEnaney and Mr. Mac- Neill. Games were played on the Epsom diamond, and the boys wore Reach Centennial Choir sweaters - from the school.
