| + Port Perry Cubs Win Trophy In Three Straight Tuesday, March 24th, Port .Perry played their Tinal game against Cartwright. Port Perry won'by 4-0. Game-- Port Perry 4, Cartwright 0 These games of hockey could not have been won without the fine goal tending of Charles Durward and the effort put in by Port Perry cubs and leaders. Cartwright cubs promised they wonld win next season. Even after a defeat the spirit of cubbing was in everyone. After the game a party was held at the Scout Hall. Leaders present for this yic- tory party were from Port Perry--Claude Parker, Akela Geo. Hall, Donna Durward, Marianne Smits, Rick Hall, Jim Parry, Jim Murray and Akela Paul Saulnier. -Akela Stan Ploughman came but was unable to stay. From Cartwright -- Akela Walter Welts and Mrs. Wellts, Parry Grandel. A Special thanks to the mothers who made this party possible. Akela Paul Saulnier at the first part of the game step- ped on the ice to start the game and fell hitting his head, and received a nasty cut. Akela said he put his heart in cubbing and now his head. This was a very good hoc- key league and everybody in- volved did their best.
