COURTNEY GRAHAM Follownig an illness of two weeks, Howard Courtney Graham passed away sudden- ly in Port Perry Community Hospital on Saturday, July 4, 1970. He was in his 69th year. The son of the late Maretta Byam and Job Graham, the deceased was born in Cart- wright Township and was educated at Purple Hill where he: lived all his life. On November 3rd, 1928 he married Florence Toms and together they farmed success- fully until his son, Harvey, took over the family farm. Mr. Graham continued to be an active part of this farm operation until two weeks be- fore his death. ! Mr. Graham was a faithful member of Bethel Church until it closed and. then of Blackstock , United Church. He had been a loyal member of L.O.L. 399, Purple Hill for fifty years and also was an enthusiastic curler, being a member of Blackstock Curl- ing Club.
