-- 16 - PORT PERRY STAR -- Tuesday, Dec. 21, 1971 Obituary FRANK EDWARD HONEY EY Death came suddenly to" * Frank E. Honey as he was driving his tractor gu the farm north of Port Perry on Wed., Dee. 8. Seemingly in good health he was just about to finish his farm ~ work for the day and pre- pare for the night shift in General Motors when he suffered a cerebral hemor- rhage. He was in his 51st year. Mrs. Honey is the son of Mrs. Mabel Honey and the late Mr. Lawson Honey. He attended the Yellow School and Port Perry High School. He made his home on the family farm, Mr. Honey was married to Marjorie Jeffrey in Sept. 23, 1944. There are two children, Richard & Jennet. Always an active man Mr. Honey not only worked the farm, he was also a fore- man at General Motors, at Oshawa, where he had been --employed for nearly 25 years. He was interested in community work as well, being a member of the Ma- sonic Lodge, a past presi- dent of the .Port Perry Lions Club, past president --of the Port Perry, Reach & Scugog Agricultural Society and a member of the Pine Grove Cemetery Board and the United Church. His passing is mourned -bv his wife Marjorie, his children Richard & Jennet, at home. His mother, Mrs. Mabel Honey, Port Perry, and his sister Isobel, Mrs. _ Merv. Annis of Brougham.
