PORT PERRY LL * STAR x SPORTS Port Midgets advance to Ontario semi-finals Grant Menzie Midgets scored a 6 - 4 victory over Fort Henry last. Sunday to win the best of 5 series in four games. The Midgets will now advance to the Ontario . semi-finals against Union- ville, This series will get under way this week-end. In the game Sunday, Fort Henry took an early 1 - 0 lead, but before the end of the first period; Van Camp had scored for Port Perry to tie the game. Port Perry scored four - goals in the second to takea 5 - 2 into the final period. Van Camp scored two, and Campbell and Jackson one 'each in the middle period. Fort Henry came on strong in the final period and scored twice to narrow the lead to5 - 4. In the final minutes, with the Fort Henry netminder out for an additional attacker, McGuy scored to put the game out of reach. There were 23 penalties called in this game with Port Perry picking up 13 of them. Game times and dates of the series 'with Unionville will be announced in the near future. Watch for posters.
