At a meeting held May 1, Reach Council passed a by-law setting the 1972 mill rates at 96 for farm and residential properties, and 105 for commercial and industrial developments. This figure of 105 for the industrial and commercial rate is actually a decrease of about .8 mills over last year. One reason given as to why the mill rate has remained stable is that the Township saved about $3,000 over the anticipated costs for garbage collection and disposal. done, and have as many completed before the road paving program begins. This would include lot owners who might consider development of the lot some time in the future. ; The present fee for these installations is either a flat rate of $200, or a commuted feetobepaidoveranumber of years. Those who do not make application for this work by May 15 will experience an increased rate.
