2 NINA ~ Letter to the Editor Hats off for What is this younger Gen- eration coming to? Several weeks ago two _, young girls came to my door. to deliver twenty five dollars that had been earned in their 'own - private walk-a-thon, These. girls were represent. . ing girls who had walked eight miles for the children at Sunnydale Nursing Home. This walk-a-thon was their own idea and they surprised the leader (Heather Gibson) of their unofficial group with their idea and accomplish- ment. ' At Christmas time these same girls gave us a very large box of decorated short- bread cookies for the - child- ren at Sunnydale. Our hats should be taken off to Lorie Gibson, Christine Preston, Mary Doyle, Lorie and Kathy Rainer and Diana Gibson for their spontaneous and generous compasion for ~_children' far less fortunate- than most Canadians.
