There were 48 tables of euchre being played. Mr. and Mrs. Alf Prentice and Mr. and Mrs. Milt Butson of Port Perry visited Mr. and Mrs. E. Prentice and family at Buckhorn Lake recently. Pleased to know that Mrs. Maude Crosier is feeling much better and is back in her apartment in Port Perry. She had her son and daugh- ter-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. Elwood Crosier of Toronto were with her for Sunday dinner, and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Best were also callers on Sunday. Sargeant David W. Parry, of the Ontario Regiment, is in Chillwach, C.F.B. on a course for the next four weeks. David was a student of the R.H. Cornish Public School and a graduate of Port Perry High School. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Parry, 247 Beach Street, Port Perry. Young Canada's Book week will November 15th to 22nd.
