Christmas Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Bailey, (continued on page 6) p 'Port Perry Kinsmen for a most enjoyable evening on the tuesday before the holi- day. They took us on a bus tour to Oshawa to see the Christmas lights and decor- ations and on the way back we stopped at Prince Albert where the Kinettes seved a very palatable lunch. On the Thursday evening, we had a combined religious service at the Home. Rev. Reg Rose acted as chairman of the proceedings and opened the meeting with prayer after which several Christmas Carols were sung by every- body present. Rev. Wm. Black led the prayer of Thanksgiving and brought good wishes from the mem- bers of his church. Pastor Payne of the Baptist Con- gregation showed a very appropriate film of the Christmas Story. Mrs. De- Andreade provided the mu- sic at the piano while Miss Carol Leadley read a poem describing the arrival of Santa Claus at the Home. Friday afternoon was the occasion of the annual Christmas Party for the residents. It was certainly a banjo and Mr. Jack Hope on the wiolin. The staff gave gifts to every resident in the Home and followed this with a wonderful buffet lunch.
