Elizabeth. Fulford chaired the meeting and called upon two guests to speak -- Mr. Mark Hallas - Area Repre- sentative of Ontario Associ ation Mentally Retarded ex- plained his role in local Ontario Association Men- tally Retarded. A local person can at anytime call on Mr. Hallas and the resourses of his office for training, legal advise and support as well as guidance with new projects. Mr. Bill Syme is Regional Director of Ontario Associa tion Mentally Retarded. He explained that this nomina- ting meeting resulted from a meeting the 'night of the blackout" called at a reg- ional meeting of Region 6 of which we are one of 11 members.
