at Scugog Shores Museum The grounds of Scugog Shores Museum Village were buzzing at the annual Pioneer Fall Fair held September 24. Hundreds of area residents flocked to the museum grounds to see a variety of pioneer displays and demonstrations. The always popular Military R ciety the ways of pioneers from the 1812 era, rie soldiers in period uniform marching and shooting musket There were dozens of other displays, like soap making, apple cider press demonstrations, birch bark canoe construction and pottery making throughout the afternoon.
