On Saturday May 5th, all the Kinsmen clubs in the zone are holding a Krib-a-Thon from Port Perry to Lindsay, a distance of 25 miles. It is expected that the province will subsidize this to the tune of about $88,000. The townships total budget is based on the maximum amount Queens Park is willing to grant in subsidies. A comparison of this years total with the $209,000 which was budgeted in 1971 in- dicates how provincial sub- sidies are being reduced.
