We regret to hear that Mrs. Mary Jennings died on Monday after a brief illness. On Wednesday, Mr. and Mrs. Stewart Diceman held a highly successful twilight meeting of the Ontario County Holstein Breeders Association. It was one of the largest gatherings in recent years. Mrs. Anne Wills of Oshawa and Mrs. Archer of Midland visited Mr. and Mrs. Don McKean. Mrs. McKean also attended a stork shower for her daughter in-law, Mrs. Larry Treleanen in Scarborough. Bible School starts on Monday the 9th and will continue up to an including the following Friday. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. M. McNamara with Warren and a friend of Markham called on Mr. and Mrs. Mount. Mr. and Mrs. C. Ward of Newmarket were also guests of the Mounts during the week. This coming Saturday there will be a presentation for the Reverend Mr. Critch at 8:30. This week there will be the 4-H Regional Conference at Trent University. Grant Phair, Kelly Lee, Jim Phoenix and Bob Stone will be attending. Visitors from Syracuse, N.Y. were Mr. and Mrs. Larry Trudell at Mrs. Myrtle Thomas's home.
