Congratulations also to Miss Ann Kiezibrink who was one of 69 at the Nurses Graduating Exercises of Oshawa General Hospital. Ann who is now a nurse resided in our area a few «years ago. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert Kiezibrink, Canning- ton. Mr. and Mrs. M. Pugh Mr. and Mrs. Harold Black and family had sup- per with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson of Saintfield on Thursday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mc- Naughton and family were Sunday dinner guests with Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Wilson. Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kerry attended the hun- dredth anniversary at Glen Major on Sunday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Ashton spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Catherwood at the Cather- wood College at Balsam Lake. The rest of the Ashton family joined them on Sun- day. They also visited Mr. and Mrs. John Lehanne and family at their cottage at Moore's Falls. Mrs. J.P. Wilson spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wilson. Jill and Jan Asling of Hanover were with their grandparents for a few days last week. } A Chivaree was held last Monday evening for Mr. Peter Lawley and his bride Debbie on Monday evening at the home of his parents Mr. and Mrs. Sid Lawley. Our sympathy to relatives and friends of Mrs. Blanche and family spent one of the many weekends at their trailer at Omemee Park. Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Taylor have arrived home after an enjoyable visit to Prince Edward Island. Mr. Lloyd Payne and daughter Brenda and Miss Darlene Christie spent Sunday at Niagara Falls DANCING AT Club Annrene psomarea and visited Marineland and Game Farm. Asling at Whitby and Mrs. Ruby Rogers of Brook- lin on Monday. We. were sorry to learn of the illness of Melissa Berry, daugher of Mr. and Mrs. Len Berry of Port Perry recently of 6th Concession, Reach. We hope our new Avon representative will soon call on us.
