* i [} dads il bid cantar ai shan TT Bead Dowson The Church was the scene of a pretty fall wedding on the Rexdale United evening of October 5th, when Patricia Anne Durling, eldest daughter of Mrs. Thelma Porter and Lawrence Porter' of Toronto, exchanged wedding vows with Arthur Johp "Bud" Dowson, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. David Dowson of Oshawa, Ontario formerly of Port Perry, Ontario. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Allen "Todd. The bride entered the church upon the arm of her step father who gave her in marriage. She wore a Victorian model gown of white flocked nylon over taffeta fashioned with tight fiting bodice with large, frilled Bertha collar. The long sleeves and long full . skirt had multiple frills of nylon sheer. Her shoulder length veil fell from a tiny coronet of nylon end seed pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of baby pink rose- _buds and white shasta daisies. Mrs. Joyce Yule, sister of the groom was Matron of Honour. She wore a gold gown fashioned and fitted bodice and full pleated skirt, and carried a shower bouquet of tiny yellow rose- buds and mauve shasta daisies. Mr. Harold Yule was best man.
