Scugog Arts Council showcase of artists a resounding success The Scugog Council for the Arts held its second annual Showcase Of The Arts in November. The show featured 30 talented artists and artisans from the area displaying and selling their work and over the two day event, more than 700 people attended. Showcase organizers report that visitors from near and far “voiced over- whelming approval of the show” and praised the Scugog Council for the Arts for providing a forum for the gifted exhibitors and high quality art. More than 500 visitors have indicated they would return next year, and plans are already underway for the next SCA show, which is scheduled to take place November 2-4, 2007.
