The game was decided with less than 2 minutes remaining when Kevin Graham scored his 3rd of the night which proved to be the winner. This was a cleanly played game with the Flamingos taking 9 penalties and Lind- say 7. The most contributing fact in the loss to Lindsay by the local club in their inabil- ity to cover the power shoot- ing. Lindsay defence men who scored four of their six goals from the blue line and again the penalty parade in the second period which left the Flamingo playing two men short on two occasions. If these two teams should meet in the playoffs, which is quite probable it should be a great series. LAKE SCUGOG HOCKEY LEAGUE WL TPits 1. Bethany ... 7 3 0 14 2. Port Perry 56 3 2 12 3. To fulfill the great need for many more in- structors to meet this demand, the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance provi- ded a 2 day training clinic in your area last weekend. This was made possible through a provincial goyernment grant from the Sport & Recreation Branch of the Ministry of Community and Social Services. Many skilled amateur skiers will now be trained to teach beginners how to ski carefully and well under control, and many other more advanced skiers will learn the latest CSIA techniques. Help pass winter days by joining the happy ones - the skiers!
