No, regu- lar teachers have not sub- jected themselves to plastic surgery. There is a logical explanation for the bright new faces: student teachers from the Faculty of Educa- tion at the University of Toronto are spending two weeks at P.P.H.S. in order to practice the skills they have learned about at university. Regular teachers at P.P H.S. volunteer their services in order to guide the student teachers. i Port Perry High School ~ welcomes: Mr. Vincent Avedesian te- aching for Mr: John Barton. The letter from High School teacher Paul Arculua points out that the 200 stu- dents will spend two nights and one complete day in the City of Durham, England as part of the tour. The students leave Port Perry on March 9. Mr. Arculus suggests that the students could present the official greetings and souvenirs to the Mayor and Council of the English city while they are there. "I feel this would afford a rare and unusual opportun- ity to establish a firm band between the Durham Region of Ontario and its original namesake in England," Mr. Arculus said in his letter to regional chairman, Walter Beath. 2525252525252525 Cac 252626262630 ATT Te Scacadh25ehesd oT pop om [on Ton [os [ps Taps Tape Ta Vege Lap Lape Li Ln Lem Le Lm Yn | Th TTT Th TT Tb Toh Tb Teh Tek Te Te] CCICAG aC ceadaeh2sese 2525¢ 4 Students will be flying to Amsterdam, and _on their WM.
