Adudeihinntdaces 26 - PORT PERRY STAR --- Thursday, July 4th, 1974 News FFrom Monday's Globe and Mail "The blinding flash of light which appeared over a large portion of Southern Ontario the other day, filling many people with dread that the holoacaust was up on us at last, was in fact an almost forgotten celestial phenome- non known as the sun." This happy circumstance did much to contribute to the success of the Greenbank Women's Institute Garden Party. Members and their friends strolled, chatted and enjoved their refreshments under a kindly sky and were reluctant to say good-bye to @ne another as homely duties called them away. Guests of honour were Mrs. Luella Lewis, president and Mrs. from Board Member of the Dis- trict. Together with Mrs. Murray Lee, the Green- bank Women's Instute Pres- ident, they presided over the tea trays. One of the hostesses, Mrs. A.
