This is part of the government's program to 'bring government more close to the people'. The Cabinet will meet in closed session in the morning as usual. During the after- noon the public, either individuals or groups will have the opportunity to address the ministers. Those who may wish to speak to the Cabinet should first submit their Brief to the Cabinet Office, Room 359, Main Parliament Building, Queens Park, Toronto, by ' Beautify Your Home! with "ALCAN ALUMINUM SIDING by February 3rd 1975. This will give ministers an opportun- ity to prepare for an orderly meeting and to ensure that those submitting briefs may have enough time to discuss their brief with Cabinet. As your M.P.P. McEntyre. The childrens story for the day was "Why follow the star?" and the sermon was taken from Lukes gospel "Going Forward". The Jr. choir sang "I shall rot be moved", the words of their anthem was based on the third verse of the first Psalm. The Elders of the Church enjoyed a turkey supper together in the church par- lour on Monday night, and it was followed by the regular business meeting. We are sorry to report Mrs. Clarence Harrison is in Port Perry Hospital but we hope she will soon be feeling much better and home again. The annual meeting of the Community Centre was held on Wednesday night of last week, with a good atten- dance. Mr. Fred Daw, chairman of the board for the last year, was in charge of the meet- ing. The activities for the past year were discussed and plans were made for the coming year. The new board members are Chairman Mr. Fred Daw; Vice-chairman Mrs. F. Gardiner; Secretary Mr. Sam Hollingsworth; Treasurer - Mr. Wm. Bur gess; other board members are Mrs. Garf. Johnston, Mrs. A. Nickelchok, Mrs. Robert Forsyth, Miss Heather Richardson, Mr. Ted Heron, Mrs. John Koz- riachyj, Mrs. John Rutledge. There was a social time spent over coffee. Our thought for the day is try growing a little younger every day, its good for the heart.
