LT RRSET ARTA Sturtevant - Aldred The marriage of Beverly Aldred to David Sturtevant took place on June 7, 1975, in the chapel of Ontario Ladies' College with Rev. J. K. Braham of Dwight, Ontario, officiating. Thebrideis the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Aldred of Oshawa, Ontario. " The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Sturtevant of Sherbrooke, Quebec. Mr. R. Arbour, guitarist, Mrs. Cameron Aldred, solo- ist, and Mr. Hunt, organist contributed to the bride and groom's special day. Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a cap-style headpiece of poie de soi beaded with pearls, holding a two-tiered illusion tulle, finger-tip .veil. The floor length polyester jersey gown featured a pear embroidered boat neckline and long full sleeves with beaded cuffs. It had an empire waist and a chapel train that was gathered at the neckline. Rosemarie Jaejer of King- ston was the maid of honour. The bridesmaids were Ann Sturtevant, sister of the groom, Danielle Nasso, a close friend of the bride, Susan Filuk and Maryanne Milner, cousins of the bride. Lisa Hoskings, niece of the groom was the flowergirl. Victor Jarjour of Sher- brooke, acted as best man. The ushers were Bob Aldred, cousin of the bride, Jim Sturtevant, brother of the groom, John Meclvers and Ernie Christmas, close friends of the groom. Jeffry Eades was the ring-bearer. The wedding party was made up of people from Sherbrooke, Que., Oshawa, Ottawa, Kingston, Brooklin, Ont., Banff, Alta., Scugog Island and Virginia, U.S.A.
