Meanwhile Greg Billings has returned home from a trip to The: Western Canada. On Thursday afternoon, Mr. and Mrs. Don Beacock and boys travelled to Oshawa and had a lovely visit with Miss Olive Beacock and Mrs. Travis: Our newlyweds, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Johnston arriv- ed at their final destination in Surrey, B.C. last Friday. 'We certainly 'extend best. wishes to this happy young couple as they begin their new life together. Mrs. Ron Crosier and boys * and Mrs. Roy Puckrin and family spent a couple of days holiday at Rons grandpar- ent's cottage. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Abraham and family spent the week- end at their friends cottage up by Parry Sound and Jeff remained there for a holi- day. Also Mr. and Mrs. Morris Madill and family spent the weekend at their friends cot- tage, north of Kirkfield. - It sure is: great to have friends with cotteges apd pools this summer, We are sorry to hear Mr, Morley Raines barn and implement shed was burned on Saturday afternoon by a short in an electrical wire. There was a considerable amount of hay 'and straw in the bari and implements in The garage so it certianly was a great loss. Miss Kelly Boyle was the lucky recipient to a happy birthday party marking her' 5th birthday on Saturday.. Many relatives from Toronto were present as well as Kelly's little friends. Happy birthday Kelly and to anyone _else hitting that grand occa- sion. 2 'The David Lee family, Dale ° Bolton family and the Len Somerville family have been holidaying at a summer re- sort lodge near Trout Creek together with other friends from Prince Albert, = The Carr girls have been enjoying a holiday with their aunt and uncle in Orillia last wee Miss Kim Tobin of Black stock also has been enjoying a few days holiday with grandma and grandpa Tobin. 4 The Ken Sturmans have returned from a weeks holi- day at the South Lake Trail er Camp at Minden. Master Bradley Puckrin entertained Master Glen Harris of Cambray for a few days last week. Then on 'Wednesday Bradley's mom and dad treated the boys to a .day at Niagara Falls. . The Don Wallace household has been a busy spot for the last month courtesy of the Lions Club of Port Perry. Miss Marti Barbella from Bethleham, Pényi. and Miss Kathy McGarry of New Lon- don, Conn, were the guests of: Sharon and Donna respectiv- ely for two weeks and then Sharon and Donna: were guests at their homes for two weeks, Donna just arrived * home on Sunday and the Wallace household is now getting back "to normal. While - the . exchange girls were vacationing at the Wallaces Don and Marion were the chauffeurs showing the girls a few of the sights of Ontario. I believe this week of holidays is going to be spent in a week ofirelaxation.
