Over 300 people were present for the movements first joint banquet. Banquet chairman Paul Saulnier said "This is our first joint barquet and we hope it will be the first of many events together. We have separate headquarters but our aim is the same, to try and teach our youth to be _better people." "#4 The banquet could not - have gone over without Kay Nicols, Linda Bray, Jeanne Jackman, and Ruth William- son. These four ladies were great and we owe them a lot. "Chairman Saulnier intro- duced the head table guests, and space here will not allow us to mention them all, but one should be mentioned, Bill Hopkins who piped all the guests and parents to the table. President Cliff Crowell spoke on behalf of the Pineridge District and asked the people to get ° involved in the movement. Awards were presented by. Vera Southgate, Marg Caudel, Ann Wanninkhof, Jayne Hall and David Saulnier. The awards were for work done in Guiding, Brownies 'and Cubs. -The event of the year for B Pack was when David Saulnier presented the Cub of the Year award to Harry Bolton. Father Botman, Rev.
