He "introduced Mr. John Hofstee of Manchester to explain these pictures to the children and congregation. This was followed by a story for the children about responsibil- ities to man and God. After Rev. Wylie's sermon, Mr. Hofstee remained to answer questions about the pictures and Holland. As Rev. Wylie stated, we appreciate the culture the Du patie have brought to ountry. Baby sitting was available and will be next Sunday. On Mother's Day, there will be a Baptismal Service. Anyone interested, please contact one of the ministers. It was nice to see Marcia (Chandler) McDougall and - her family from Ottawa while they were visiting at the parental home of Mr. and _ Mrs. Sydney Chandler. Recently Clara was informed that her mother's brother, Leonard Sanguine, had passed away March 7 in Chinook, Montana. Some of the older residents may remember him and be interested in "hearing that this was the last member of the Sanguine family. . PORT PERRY STAR - The South Ontario 4-H Beef Club 'meeting on April 12th .- was called to order by our President Nancy Richardson and the minutes of our last meeting were read by the Secretary. Under new business, we discussed the 4-H Achievement Day which will. be held sometime in early September in Uxbridge. Our Agricultural Repre- sentative, . Mr. Paul Ruth . Spoke to us about the neces- sary- nufrients Jfor healthy beef and dairy cattle, includ- ing sources of minerals, vita- mins, carbohydrates, proteins, etc. : Mr. Richardson, our leader, gave an interesting talk on the different cuts of meat .hat are taken from a fat beef and also explained the different rts of an animal and pointed each out - on the actual animal.
