He married Donna Stapely of Stirling, a graduate of Stirling High School and Ontario Business College at Belleville. Mr. and Mrs. Philp enjoy trail biling and golfing and as a couple each plan to be very active in the newly acquired Philp Pontiac Buick Limited dealership, to have time to enjoy some bridge, gardening, snowmobiling, and bicycling and to become active in the community. The change in ownership of the General Motors fran- chise became effective June 30th with several of the original employees remain- ing with the new ownership. Additional staff has been engaged to operate and manage the dealership.
