Seagrave, alas, is not represented, but an honourable mention must be awarded to our own baseball team who have great potential. A win is comming fellows! Forget about the loss to Little Britain Sunday evening with a score of 24-11. Better days are coming. Oakwood lost to Mariposa Estates Sunday evening by a score of 18-14. Correction: Little Britain won over Mariposa Estates instead of vice versa as previously re- ported. Mr, and Mrs. Keith Kend- all with their children Gloria and Kyle, and Mr. and Mrs. Jim Durward have been holi- daying in Newfoundland and then on to New Brunswick to visit Mr. and Mrs. Walter Dee. Last Friday brought to a close a very successful week of Vacation Bible School at Greenbank. On July 11, Paige and Sonya Whyte, Melody Anne Sommerville, Robert and Paul Wana- maker, Kelly Boyle, Bradley Puckrin, Carol, Mark and Ted Sturman, Jay, Scott and Shane Branton and Kevin Puckrin were among those from the Seagrave area to help bring the average atten- dance to 78. Friday evening the parents were treated to an enjbyable program in- cluding well rehearsed songs from each of the groups attending. Afterwards we saw a display of crafts the childrén had been working on. The theme for the week was: '"'Remember the Lord is with Us". Mrs. Elsie Brown from Toronto visited at the home of her friends, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Wanamaker for a week. Leanne Munro from Epsom is visiting with her cousin Melody Anne Sommerville for a few days this week. After two years, Jackie Boyle was reunited with her sister Mrs. Lillian Burgogne from . Grande Prairie, Al- berta. A family get-to- gether was held at the Chel- sea Inn and Ed's Warehouse in Toronto last week to cele- brate this happy occasion. Mr. Walter King will be at the Scugog Shores Museum on Sunday, July 25 from 2-4 p.m. demonstrating his miniature steam engine and saw mill.
