The _ officers for the new. season are as follows: Pre- sident Maxine McMillen; Vice President Shirley Jack- son and Recording Secretary Carol. Oliphant. Pictures were shown of this modern struc- ture and it most definitely is a credit to the Foresters of A pantry and kitchen shower was hosted by Mrs. Dalton Dorrell and her co- hostess, Mrs. Jim Marlow, on Friday evening, Septem- ber 17th, to honour Lorri, the lovely daughter of Shirley and Roy Turner of Black- stock. With the assistance of the bride-elect's sister Janet and her future sister-in-law Linda Minshal, gifts far too numerous to mention were presented. Janet fashioned an apron with the ribbons and bows that adorned each gifts and pictures were taken of Lorri wearing her sister's creation. Following a delect- able buffet Lorri thanked the ladies and all that assisted in making the evening one long to be remembered with pleasure. On October 2nd, . The Presbyter- ian Men's Choir from Toron- to provided the music. In splendid voice, they added a deéper,solempity to the im- pressive service. Miss Dorothy Bulmer, Deaconess of the church, expressed gra- titude to Dr. Dymond and to "the choir. Prayers were then offered in appreciation of past years and for peace in the years to come.
