There were 20 children for Sunday School but still only three boys. After' Sunday School Mrs. Cawker had all the children go to her home for a weiner roast. Thanks Madeline, for your interest and effert. As Sunday retained its fine weather, over 150 people attended the Harvest Home Service in the evening at the "Head" Memorial Museum Church. As this is now an annual event and stories spread about its music, message and fellow- ship, more people are desirous of taking part. For those who enjoy the Lake Scugog Historical Choir and wish to hear them again, there will be another chance at the "Grace" Church Anniversary on Oct. 17th. Information will soon be going out in letters. The "Head"UCW will meet tonight at the home of Mrs. Clara Dowson. The Island Community is looking forward to its autumn get together at the Island Hall dance on Sat. Tickets are available. Many new people who have moved in since the spring will wish to get acquainted. Hope you aren't too tired for the church anniversary next morning.
