SECTION Last 'week was 'a good week for drama enthusiasts, as students from both Cart- "wright and Port Perry High Schools held their annual Drama Night presentations, Wednesday night was Port Perry High School's turn, and a small but enthusiastic audience enjoyed the pre- sentation of three plays staged by the school's drama club. Peter Smith, Denise Vin- ette, Wayne Taylor, Leon Tapper and Donna Dyke did a good job in getting things underway 'with a short % a . High schools hold Drama Night theatre arts improvisation, but perhaps the most im- pressive was Aria De Capa... by Edna St. Vincent Millay, a poetic fantasy. in one act. Good performances by 'virtually all the cast carried the play co-herently and ef- fectively through its ab- stract, serious message. The cast included Hugh : Allward, Georgina Kemp, Laurie Foster, Lisa Berry, and Bruce Andor. Set design, credited to Devin Ostrom, was also very elfec- tive: The play was directed by-PPHS teacher D.
