Honky-tonk piano, barber- shoppers, Laurel and Hardy film clips, Can-Can dancers and much, much more promises to make Saturday, April 23 at Town Hall 1873 one of the most unique and entertaining events to date. "It's not just because we're serving booze," smiles an enthusiastic Cabaret organizer Diane Lackie, it's the total atmos- phere that we're trying to "get going for us--the music and the fun. If this takes off, we'll. do more of it, perhaps more than annually," hints Diane. The event, loosely organ- ized by design to provide flexibility, features scores of people on the entertain- ment end, from well-known local pianist Dr. Tom Millar (listed in the Cabaret Night agenda as Mad Tom) to a stand-up comedy -act by high school teacher John Addison.
