If your interested, you need go no further than Port Perry. On Monday, May 23, the Big Brother Association of Scugog will run its First Annual Bed Race. The race is an effort by the organization to promote Big Brothers Week from June 16 through 23rd and the race will be run along . Queen. Street, starting at John and ending at Water Street. : An ad in the Star on page 19 gives a rundown of the rules and proceedures, along with an entry form. .Local organizations, and individuals are invited to enter a bed in the race and help the Big Brothers with their work. Each team is to have 5 members, one of whom will be required to ride on the bed. The bed must include a mattress and box spring or regular type spring, and bedding must be supplied. Get yourself a team together, build a bed, and have some fun.
