Clarke would again like to meet at the Island Church, those who are interested in the Sunday . School. On Sun. Rev. and Mrs. Clarke were blessed with several visitors from Peter- borough including Miss Maynard who is a talented whistler instead of singer. This is -an accomplishment more outstanding than song. Miss Maynard described how her gift began in early childhood and how she obtained her training in studying the 40 bird figures i 4 of chirps, cries, trills and waves. Then she gave interesting demonstrations of bird calls and songs. She accompanied the hymn "All is well with my soul", "I'd rather have Jesus than silver or gold" as well as bird songs at eventide. After thrilling us with her gift, Miss Maynard discuss- ed our gifts and references in the Bible in Ephesians, Matthew and I Corinthians. Next Sunday we have another treat in store for us when Prince Albert Choir will come to our Service. So do please make an effort to show appreciation by - being present. It was such a successful the Scugog Shores Museum. If you missed it, try again through the summer. Mrs. Ethel Freeman was pleased. to have cousins visiting from Saskatoon. It was several years since they had visited before so of course they experienced many changes.
