They two and many other folk involved who worked ardently putt- ing the pieces together as a result an inspirational and successful evening was made possible. Coffee hour followed in the church parlors for those participat- ing. A healthy amount of slightly over $200. was realized so the organ fund is swelling little by little. Rev. and Mrs. Chas. Clarke spent an- enjoyable --~ten-days- in Los Angeles, California attending '"The White Shrine Convention of Jerusalem". 'Chas was re- presenting® the Toronto Branch no. 4 as the Watch- man Shéphiefd?ol 'which he hold a high office. Mr. and Mrs. Derek Lawrence and son Brent have arrived from England to spend a vacation with his sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Williamson and Christina. Mr. and Mrs. Robt. Holtby and baby were visit- ed by his parents, Mr. and Mrs, Holty of Nobleton. Mrs. Mary Tetlow accompanied her daughter ~ Mr. and Mrs. A. Heayn of Haliburton to Picton visiting relatives for a few days. The Les Beacocks enjoyed their weding anniversary in Apsley and Péterborough over the weekend. Congratulations to our village 'male- -and- female sports who were receipients of honour at the annual Bowling Party. Mr. lan McCullough of Banff, Alberta has been ~ visiting his parents Mr. and Mrs. D., McCullough and family plus being in on the 'Holty-Parkinson wedding. Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Allison of Blackstock _ were with their daughter and husband Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Bea- cock and Philip.
