The incident occurred shortly before eight in the evening when two men entered the store on High- way 7A. After waiting until customers had left, one allegedly pulled a knife and demanded that cashier Louise Hope hand over the PORT § P money from the cash register. Although pushed against the wall and shaken by the experience, Ms. Hope was not harmed in the in- cident. After getting the money, the two made their way out a back door of the store where an accomplice was waiting in a getaway car described as being either a 1971 or 1973 Pontiac ~ Lemans. ERRY The licence plates were apparently covered with t- shirts, however a witness was able to give police the first three letters. In their haste to get away, about $70. was dropped and later recovered by police near the scene.
