The most powerful of the boats were pushed by 200 h.p. outboards and reached speeds on the straightaways of close to 100 m.p.h. . Unlike Saturday's racing when there were a couple of Ideal weather conditions allowed an excellent day of racing Sunday, with little wind and calm water.
