The Port Perry Cubs are holding a Paper Drive starting at 9:30 and will be canvassing in trucks house to house around the village. People in the out- lying areas may have their papers picked-up by calling 985-3563 or 985-2226 before Saturday. Support these young lads by having your papers ready. The Star received a call Almer Wagg, information on the Hiscock building displayed in the Remember When column last week. Following a three weeks vacation in his native Nor- way, Per Hvidsten returned to Port Perry last Friday. He spent most of the time with his younger sister and husband, but also visited other relatives and friends in various areas of the south eastern part of Norway. One of the reasons for the trip. was a 50 year reunion of persons who were confirmed in the Lutheran Church in 1927 in his home town, Sarps- borg.
