In the afternoon and evening, we had our drop-in center under the leadership of Bill Carnegie. Cookies and tea are served each afternoon so come out and enjoy these get-togethers. On Saturday evening, we had nineteen tables of euchre which was real good, considering the weather. A dainty lunch was served by the January group. On Wed. January 25 we met again at ten o'clock for our square dancing with Doris Grierson helping us practise for the afternoon programme. There were not too many out due to sickness and the fog in the morning. Lunch and busi- ness followed after the dan- cing. At two o'clock, we had a real good turnout to our regular meeting. Mac Whybrow © welcomed our new members and visitors. Mr. Edgar Leask, Mr. Hy- land and Phyllis Lambert from the villa and nursing home. Grant Bright, Mac, Roy, Marjory McCombe and probably others, are so gen- erous and kind in seeing that rides are available for others less fortunate. We have a visiting com- mittee each month who visit the hospital, nursing home and villa and these people really like us to come. After the business, Doris led her square-dancers in the Cicilian Circle. The left-footers, the Texas star and Dip and Dive. By the applause from the Seniors it was evident they really en- joyed this entertainment. A dainty lunch was served by the January group. The drop-in at night from 7:30 until 9:30 was under the leadership of Bill Carnegie. The -bowling- is still -going good but there's always room for more.
