In the first game they met the Uxbridge "'B' team. The big green machine was not quite in gear but manag- ed to come out on top 3-1. Scoring for Port were Clay . Dempsey with 2 goals, Rob Tobin picked up a single. All three assists went to Fred Cockerton, Jim White had a single assist. The next team they play- ed was from Thornton. This was a much better game with the score 1-1 at the end of the 2nd period. They played well but Thornton managed to score with 5:25 left in the third period. Tim Cannon scored Ports only goal.
