Blackstock O.N.O. by Bethany Schryburt Twenty members and two visitors of Blackstock's 0.N.O. met at the home of Kathleen Dorrell for their April meeting. It was decided during the course of the business that due to the need of a new roof and a new coat of paint for the arena, the O.N.O. will donate an additional one - thousand dollars to the arena fund. One of the reasons for the allocation of funds at this -time is that Blackstock Arena is still qualified to receive match- ing funds from Wintario for any donations made. Part of the proceeds from the Spring Thaw Dance, featuring the Joey Van quartette, on April 20th will be given to help pay for a new floor covering in both washrooms at the Recrea- tional Centre. Anyone wish- ing to help raise money for this project may buy tickets' from Sandra Hoskin 986-5574.
