The main purpose of the meeting was to organise the Show and Sale, that will be taking place on Canoe the Nonquon Day af the Latcham Centre. Arrange- ments, were made for dis- plays in quilting, afghans, hooked: rugs and wallhang- Mr. and Mrs. Howard Holli- day of Mount Forest. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Geer called on Mr. and Mrs. Bob Slack and family on Sunday evening, Mts. Myrtle Thomas and Mrs. Enoch McKnight called on Mrs. Crosier on Thurs- day. mgs and macrame as well as the more usual knitting, etc. There were also demonstra- tions of these and other crafts, that had to be organ- ized along with the sale of the work. The rest of the meet- ing was taken up by Dorothy Naples demonstating how to decorate wire coat hangers. This proved to be one. of the most popular to date. At the end of the Spring cleaning, there should be a lot of classy closets in Port Perry. The next meeting will be June 14th. Please note that the times have changed. The meeting will start at 12 noon with a Pot Luck Lunch - the hall will be open at 11:30. This will be the last meeting of the season, until we start again in September.
